What is it about?
There is great interest in the development of 3D printed solid rocket propellant that can take the place of cast HTPB solid rocket propellant. We show viscosity (important to the printing process), mechanical (important to retain strength while undergoing combustion at pressure), and burning rates of 3 novel UV cure binder formulations that are 3D printed.
