What is it about?
Collisional-radiative models of atomic processes in neutral and singly-ionized xenon are developed to aid in the interpretation of optical emission spectroscopy (OES) data in Hall thrusters. OES is a non-perturbing diagnostic of plasma parameters that can be useful for thruster characterization and validation of computational models.
