What is it about?
Green rocket propellants offer the perspecitve to replace the highly toxic and carcinogenic hydrazine. Among others, green alternatives are mixtures of nitrous oxide and fuels. In the paper the influence of the oxidizer to fuel mixture ratio, the combustion chamber length and the chamber pressure on the performance of a green propellant based on N2O and C2H4 is evaluated.
