What is it about?
Origami is used in aerospace to fold satellite structures reliably and compactly. We propose a novel deployable reflector based on the Miura-Ori pattern which allows the folding of reflector surfaces which are both curved and rigid, including high-frequency RF reflectors and optical mirrors.
