On-Orbit Modal Identification of Solar Sail Using Covariance-Driven Stochastic Subspace Identification Method

What is it about?

Solar sails, as new deep space spacecraft, are difficult to carry out on-orbit identification experiments by applying artificial excitation. We use the SSI-COV method, based on the acceleration output signal only, to perform modal identification of the solar sail under environmental noise disturbance.
