What is it about?
This study investigates the performance of high-performance thermoplastic polymer PEKK under anaerobic re-entry conditions. It finds that PEKK, particularly when reinforced with carbon nanotubes, exhibited the highest char yield (69%) during tests, making it a promising material for re-entry scenarios.
