What is it about?
Autonomous spacecraft guidance during orbital rendezvous maneuvers is a key technology for many emerging mission concepts. We prove that deep learning techniques, as behavioral cloning and reinforcement learning, are able to provide a control policy that meets the mission requirements within acceptable tolerances and keeps the propellant consumption to a minimum, even in presence of uncertainties and in-flight disturbances.
