Description of design of RBCC at JAXA. later, the engine showed designed performances at M0, M4, M6, M8 and M10 condition at the ejector-jet, the ramjet, the scramjet mode, respectively.

Why is it important?
Design criteria of RBCC. Especially on the ejector system and the diffuser system. In the ejector mechanism, momentum exchnage was adopted, e.g., Fabri choking. In the diffuser mechanism, the momentum balance model of the pseudo-shock wave was adopted. they workd well. Ejector mechanism is modified later becuase of the entropy increase in mixing.
Perspectives
RBCC can be designed, which works well in design.
