What is it about?

Simplified rotor blade design is an inevitable challenge in the advancement of unmanned aerial vehicles. The combination of blade element theory and momentum theory has long been favored for its efficiency, but it falls short in terms of design fidelity. To overcome this limitation, we have introduced an innovative design approach that identifies the underlying energy losses in conventional methods and seamlessly integrates a rotor wake model. This approach has significantly improved the accuracy of thrust prediction while maintaining excellent efficiency inherent in conventional methods.
