Why is it important?
We compared the energy characteristics of solid fuel and liquid fuel, which proved the advantages of solid fuel. And by CFD simulation/ Integral analysis, performance of the engine was obtained.
Perspectives
Hypersonic engine using solid fuels has advantages in volume specific impulse and accelaration ability, so it is important to study its performance, desingn method, combustion technology. This publication made a start of the exploration.
