What is it about?
With the development of active thermal protection system (TPS) for hypersonic vehicles, reliability improvement and weight reduction of TPS are key issues to be considered. The porous media with oriented porous structure is proposed to solve the problem of local block in transpiration cooling. By comparing the transpiration cooling performance on porous media with uniform porous structure through numerical calculation, the transpiration cooling characteristics of porous media with oriented porous structure are investigated qualitatively and quantitatively from multiple perspectives, which provides a solution to the local overheating problem in transpiration cooling and provides a reference for pore customization of porous media.
