What is it about?
In recent years, the development of hydrogen heavy duty gas turbines has been gradually emphasized by the “double carbon” policy, but the addition of hydrogen to the fuel creates high temperature environment and increases the amount of absorbent gas, affecting the distribution of the thermal environment of gas turbine combustor. This research presented the change rules of thermal environment in the combustor of heavy duty gas turbine using the hydrogen/methane blended fuel, and gave the quantitative data of changes, which can provide reference basis for hydrogen gas turbine thermal protection, to some extent improve their service life.
