Flows Generated by Electrohydrodynamic Gas Pumps with Different Electrode Orientations

What is it about?

An electrohydrodynamic (EHD) gas pump can be used for flow delivery and electronics cooling. We show that the performance of an EHD gas pump can be optimized by strategically mounting the electrodes on the channel walls to produce favorable flow pattern to increase the flow velocity and volume flow rate.
