Planetary Helicopter Brownout Simulation of Ingenuity Using a Eulerian Dust Transport Model

What is it about?

The flow induced by a helicopter in hover close to the ground can generate dust clouds.This phenomenon has been studies on Earth, but not so much on other planets. We simulate the induced flow and compute the amount of dust lifted by NASA's Ingenuity helicopter on Mars and we compare the results with analytical models and observations in order to formulate recommendations to improve the simulation and modeling capabilities.
