What is it about?
A weak plasma elevated the internal temperature of gas in a high-speed flow. The plasma did not affect the flow itself, but qualitative changes in the internal temperature profile were monitored as the flow moved along the test article. Far from the wall, fluid mechanics dominate the behavior of the boundary layer, but near the wall, thermodynamics becomes relevant.
