What is it about?
Adhesion impulses generated at the separation of metallic surfaces significantly impact the functionality and performances of launch-lock and release space mechanisms. The proposed technique is developed exploiting the sensing-body multi-mode-response with redundant outputs to the same dynamical input, to characterize the adhesion dynamics with improved measurement performance.
