What is it about?

Plates are used in civil, mechanical, aerospace, naval engineering structures. In classical plate theory, only three in-plane stresses are taken into account. In the plate theories presented here, all the six stresses are taken into account, yet the simplicity level is kept almost equal to the classical plate theory.
