What is it about?
Membrane wings, such as those found in flexible air vehicles and bats, have many characteristics that are quite different from more common rigid wings. Here present experimental results that demonstrate the use of an integrated measurement of the shape and aerodynamic forces associated with membrane wings, as well as information about the flow over the wing.
