Pneumatic-Probe Measurement Errors Caused by Fluctuating Flow Angles

What is it about?

Pneumatic probes are widely used in aerodynamic measurements to characterise flow velocity, pressure and direction. We show in this paper that these probes can be highly inaccurate if the flow angle is unsteady, and develop methods to correct for these effects.
