What is it about?
Airborne electro-optical system must operate in a harsh environment consisting of vibration disturbances from the air platform and the aero dynamic flow around the optical aperture. This paper describes the methods used in the USAF Advanced Tactical Laser program to predict the jitter of the optical line-of-sight to the target, and then to updated the model based on as-built deviations from the design.
