What is it about?

An intelligent crack inspection strategy for helicopter components based on the digital twin is proposed. Different from the traditional fixed inspection interval based on damage tolerance, the proposed method can adaptively adjust the inspection intervals according to the updating of the digital twin model to meet the requirements of safety and economy.
