What is it about?
Estimated the flutter boundaries of a very flexible wing can be an expensive computational task. This is mainly because the eigenvalue problem that determines flutter depends on the nonlinear equilibrium conditions of the wing. We investigate numerical strategies to accelerate that solution process by means of interpolation on just a few carefully selected samples of the full system.
