What is it about?

Aircraft drag decomposition remains an important topic in aviation. This paper applies for the first time the concept of partial pressure fields (PPFs) to a transonic wing. It is shown that the recently developed theory on PPFs is an equivalent means of drag decomposition when compared to classical farfield methods.
