What is it about?

Placing the rotors around a multi-rotor vehicle so that there is minimum interference is a complex design task constraint by several design parameters. This problem is expected to become apparent in many eVTOL designs where main and auxiliary rotors and propellers are present. The paper presents a method suitable for optimising the placement of propellers in such a vehicle where the main helicopter rotor is affecting a propeller added to provide more thrust.
