What is it about?
Nonuniformities in impulse facility test gases lead to substantial uncertainties in the chemical rates and aerodynamic quantities derived therefrom. This work derives and validates a numerical method for predicting the nonuniformities produced in shock tube experiments based upon experimentally measured shock speed profiles.
