What is it about?
High-fidelity simulations, such as LES, are computationally expensively for design optimization. We develop a novel method, the CKSPOD technique, to emulate the spatiotemporal flowfields with the accuracy close to the LES results. More importantly, the CKSPOD emulation achieves five orders of magnitude computation time reduction, compared to the LES counterpart.
