What is it about?

Transition to turbulence is an important physical aspect of aerodynamic flows. The inclusion of such effects into software that is used to design airplanes is desirable. In general, models that attempt to predict transition to turbulence face convergence issues. We address this aspect in this paper by proposing a smooth transition model that is solved with an efficient flow solver.
