What is it about?

A replica of a historic glider, the so-called "Normalsegelapparat" was tested in a large wind tunnel to gain an understanding of its flight and stability characteristics. This is of interest, because it can be considered to be one of the first production aircraft, since it was designed and sold by the German aviation pioneer Otto Lilienthal in 1893.
