What is it about?

Composite thin-walled beams, normally as the load-carrying structures, can obtain active control capability via embedding the piezoelectric composite materials into the structures. We show a better idea of how to improve the system control effectiveness via using the synergistic effect devoted by elastic, inertial and actuation couplings.
