Definition of an Invariant Lamb-Vector-Based Aerodynamic Force Breakdown Using Far-Field Flow Symmetries

What is it about?

The ever more pressing need for better aerodynamic drag decomposition methods led to the development of a novel vorticity-based formulation. However, the definition is flawed and needs some adjustments in order to objectively decompose the lift and the drag into its various phenomenological contributions. Here, we use the flow topology in order to make those adjustments.
