What is it about?

For one triangular prism mast (TPM) with tape-spring hinges, the continuum beam equivalent model for the TPM is derived based on energy equal theory.The modal of the TPM in free vibration modes is analyzed based on Timoshenko continuum beam theory, and natural frequencies are solved. The accuracy of the continuum beam equivalent theoretical model is verified by the tests.
