What is it about?

. The manuscript reports the results of a study which attempts to insight into the modification flow features (LSB) over NACA-4415 airfoil by the leading edge tubercles through surface flow visualization and 2D-particel image velocimetry. The results show that the leading edge tubercles significantly reduced the length as well as the height of the LSB at the pre-stall angles. The 2D-LSB on baseline airfoil has been modified into 3D-LSB on airfoil with leading edge tubercles. Further, though the baseline airfoil exhibits complete flow separation, airfoil with leading edge tubercles have shown attached flow about 50% of the airfoil at the post-stall angle.
