Large-Eddy Simulations Analysis of Supersonic Heated Jets with Fluid Injection for Noise Reduction

What is it about?

The present study shows a computational analysis of fluid injection as jet noise reduction technique for a supersonic jet. The research shows that the injectors reduce noise affecting the mechanism that generate broadband shock associated noise, and the large scale turbulent structures that generate the peak noise.
