What is it about?

Advanced nonlinear time series analysis is used to reveal temporal characteristics of combustion-generated noise from a generic academic flame configuration.

Why is it important?

Temporal patterns combustion noise that conventional methods are incapable of identifying are nonetheless signature characteristics of combustion noise. The report introduces a new perspective to fundamental discussions on combustion noise.
