What is it about?

Low-altitude urban flight planning requires accurate vehicle, environment maps, and risk models for safe flight. This paper presents a suite of motion planning metrics designed for small UAS urban flight. We present a set of metrics to describe our environment to inform a data-driven flight planner to devise a safe flight plan over Manhattan, New York City.
