Finding influential inputs in Monte Carlo simulation

What is it about?

Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) has been widely applied to flight system evaluation. In MCS there are many inputs that affect flight performance and it is often difficult to find which inputs are more influential than others. A new algorithm to detect the influential ones are presented.

Why is it important?

The method uses input and output data of Monte Carlo simulation, and more simulations, that are time consuming, are not necessary. So, the detected results can be obtained quickly.
