What is it about?

Vortex ring state for a helicopter is a phenomenon that the main rotor may encounter its own wake, resulting in the fluctuations, loss of control effectiveness and instability of helicopter. We proposed a vortex ring state avoidance control scheme prevent the helicopter from entering the vortex ring state.
