Longitudinal Flight Control Law Design with Integrated Envelope Protection

What is it about?

We evaluate different architectures for the pitch rate, angle of attack, and load factor control laws and implement an integrated architecture where some of the feedback paths are shared by the control laws, resulting in fewer gains to adjust, gains harmonization, and simpler mode transitions.
