What is it about?
Vortex interactions and breakdown play a critical role in determining the stability of aircraft, particularly at high angles of attack. This study investigates the relationship between vortex interactions on the wings of an aircraft and the resultant stability characteristics. It finds that certain states and conditions of the vortex system determine if stability is improves or declines.
