What is it about?

Reducing the environmental impact of aviation will require new technologies and aircraft designs. We show that a hydrogen-fueled electrified aircraft concept performs similarly to conventional aircraft while producing zero carbon dioxide or nitrogen oxide emissions during flight. A hydrogen-burning aircraft concept performs best but produces nitrogen oxide emissions.
