Aerodynamic Similarity of Winged and Lifting Space Vehicles

What is it about?

The longitudinal aerodynamics of winged and lifting space vehicles are considered. It could be shown, that lift, drag and pitching moment coefficients behave similar, if they are made dimensionless by a homogenizing reference area. All the aerodynamic coefficients can be approximated by a generalized fit equation.
