What is it about?
Dynamic stall is an unsteady flow phenomenon encountered in rotorcraft, wind turbines and aircraft/gust interactions. Paper addresses issues in comparison of experiments and simulations of dynamic stall. This has significant implications for the validation of CFD results and for interpretation of experiments.
