What is it about?

This study investigates the temperature effect on the acoustic characteristics of a conventional liner which is used in nacelle inlet to reduce fan noise. The effect of temperature is assessed on configuration with and without grazing flow. This paper emphasizes the coupling between acoustics, the flow and the thermal phenomena.
