What is it about?

A high-power, three-channel Hall thruster was operated for the first time up to 102 kW. Its performance was found to be comparable with smaller, lower-power Hall thrusters, which indicates that the technique of nesting multiple channels together into a single thruster provides a means to scale these devices to powers of 100 kW or greater.
