What is it about?

Oscillations of a space debris object in an ion beam during contactless transportation has a strong influence on the magnitude and direction of the generated ion force. The study proposes an algorithm for searching for the oscillation mode of an object, in which the averaged ion force will be maximum in magnitude. A controlled transition of the space debris object into this oscillation mode will allow transportation in the most efficient manner.
