What is it about?
The present paper describes a fast and accurate guidance scheme: it fuses the reliability and rapidity characterizing convex programming, used for onboard trajectory planning, to indirect shooting, typically employed to optimize spacecraft trajectories using powerful on ground computers. The algorithm is then compared to a purely indirect one, demonstrating supremacy in computational times.
