What is it about?
This work presents a propellant-free technology for mobility relative to conductive surfaces on a client spacecraft. Spacecraft shielding is frequently conductive, which allows the proposed technology to use a moving magnet to induce currents and a corresponding normal force. This work has implications for sustained inspection of client vehicles such as space stations.
