What is it about?

There are two approaches to obtain the best control: direct and indirect. The latter is of higher resolution and helps gain insight into the control structure. Traditionally, the indirect approaches have plethora of approaches, which have compelled the research community to chose direct approaches. However, the method proposed in this paper overcomes the challenges pertaining indirect approaches for problems with constraints on states and controls using trigonometric functions.
