This research has an emphasis on case study which aims to analyze the transmedia storytelling miPáramo (a natural resource) that is supported by a non-fictional web documentary.

Why is it important?
Our findings show that the use of transmedia narrative with the support of non-fictional web documentaries, allows for the empowerment of the population, and their participation in the development or co-creation of content. This could be determined by the user’s previous experiences and their empathy with the central theme of the transmedia storytelling
Perspectives
The research is a good case study to review because the innovative methodology used during the case study analysis. The narrative storytelling developed using a documentary web tool could help to understand the benefits of this new form of interaction to promote social change.
