Deep and dark inguinal fold and iliopsoas abscess

What is it about?

In the setting of iliopsoas abscess resulting in flexion deformity of the hip and following the presence of ilio-psoas abscess beneath the inguinal ligament made the inguinal area look deeper, with darker discoloration of the skin. Pus aspiration and medications improved the patient condition.
